GOL Games achieves ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security

GOL Games has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the international standard that defines the requirements for an information security management system.

The certification confirms the adoption of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) compliant with the standard, applied to the company's processes and infrastructure for information management. The model enables the identification, management, and mitigation of information security risks through processes, controls, and procedures subject to ongoing monitoring and review.

For operators and platforms working with GOL Games, the certification translates into a smoother due diligence process and verifiable assurances around information risk management — an increasingly relevant factor when selecting technology partners in a regulated industry like iGaming.

"Getting ISO 27001 certified wasn't just about passing an audit. It gave us a reason to take a fresh look at how we work, question some of the things we had always done in a certain way, and improve them. It was a real company-wide effort, and I'm very grateful to everyone who contributed. And there's a very concrete business impact too: the certification is a requirement in some of the regulated markets we want to enter, so it also removes an important barrier for our next steps," said David Santinoli, Chief Technical Officer.
